MLPTA

The Mt. Lebanon Platform Tennis association is comprised of 200+ members. Our membership spans 12 men's, 4 women's day, and 4 women's evening league teams.  The paddle season begins in October and runs into March. Spring and summer league play is also available.

Since the 1970s, the MLPTA has worked in conjunction with the Mt. Lebanon municipality to maintain the courts and share in the costs of capital improvement.

Capital Improvement Timeline

​

• 1995:  New warming hut designed and built by MLPTA members at no cost to the municipality;

• 2005:  MLPTA pledged $75,000 of the $180,000 cost to add two additional courts, bringing the total to 4.

• 2012:  Interior of the warming hut renovated at no cost to Mt. Lebanon.

• 2016:  MLPTA pledged $100,000 over 10 years to replace the original two courts.

• 2020: Installation of new LED lighting on courts 3 & 4

• 2022:  Projected groundbreaking of new two-story paddle hut.
